Many more people are turning to installing Solar panels to their house roofs to provide a more environmentally and economically friendly solution to power consumption. This leaves a dilemma, what to do about heating the pool as much of the time the Solar matting needs to be removed to make way for the Solar panels.
The new range of Heat Pumps have come along way and should you be looking to extend your swimming season or in some cases provide all year round swimming when used in conjunction with a Solar Pool Blanket a Heat Pump is now a serious contender to heat your pool.
A Heat Pump installed inline with your filtration system will not require a seperate pump, so you can remove the Solar Matting (if you require) and make savings straight away without the need for that second Solar Pump. The Heat Pump draws up to 80% of energy from the surrounding ambient air temperature, it’s very much like a air conditioning unit. If you have Solar Panels for your power you can run these all day very cost effectively.
The Heat Pumps are available in a variety of different sizes from 9kw up to 25kw depending on your power supply.
